Facilitated Conversations

Facilitated Conversations

A facilitated conversation is an alternative and less formal process than mediation. Many organisations choose this approach as an early intervention and when used before issues and behaviours are entrenched, facilitated conversations can lead to more positive outcomes for everyone involved.

What’s involved?

A review of the situation will help me to understand your needs and design a tailored process that will facilitate conversation and lead to a resolution.

What’s the outcome?

Facilitated conversations are powerful. Flexible and self-determining, the process allows the individuals involved to design the path forward in a collaborative way whilst equipping them with essential communication skills for life.

By agreeing to a new set of behaviours, a new code of conduct is established that creates a new performance baseline. Facilitated conversations also allow managers to play a proactive and supportive role in ensuring that behaviour change sticks.
